Answering Some Questions

From Mom: So, Daylon's emails  are getting shorter and shorter because he has an assignment right now where he spends almost all his time in a little office cleaning up the mission's membership records. Although he loves being on a computer, it is monotonous work, and so he doesn't have a lot to report in his emails :)  He has gotten down to basically just answering whatever questions I might ask in my email! Like this week:
_______________________________________________________________________________
Alright. Hold on. This is definitely like the 4th or 5th time you´ve traveled since I´ve been gone!!(from Mom: we're just in Pinetop for the weekend, haha) What the heck?? But I guess it´s ok cuz I´m kinda in Chile for two years, but it´s definitely not as relaxing as your vacations have been haha

Anyway, sorry last week was so rushed. Today I´ve got a bit more time :) But I´m still not gonna write novels, so don´t get your hopes up haha

To answer your questions:
(the first question was: what color pants do you need me to send you?)
 1) The Sisters tell me it´s a charcoal grey (yeah, I had to look up "carbón" in Google Translate....) but I will attach a picture of my pants.

(the next "question" was: I can't believe you didn't comment last week when I told you Arthur Levine / Scholastic requested a copy of my manuscript!)
2) I absolutely made a comment about the fact that you might get published by the same guy who did Harry Potter, but I mentioned it to my comps....Sorry! Obviously, like you said, even being able to say that he´s looking at you might help you find other people who want to get in before the "big name" brand takes you and makes even more money. Just gotta trust in the Lord :)

Allie Jayde Crider!!! You need to brush your teeth better! I brush my teeth three times a day! Come on, sis! I can´t beat a cavity girl at Pokemon ;P

(Re: getting up at 6:30 everyday, I reminded him the kids with A-hr have to get up even earlier!)
My Senior Year is when they made the schedule change, but it was also the only year I didn´t take A-hour, so I´m having to get used to it :/ It wouldn´t be so bad if it wasn´t SO DANG COLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I´m definitely staying in Arizona all my life....I hope you´re ok with that Jenny!
(from Mom: Yay!!!)

I was totally thinking about the end of school yesterday! It was sort May 25th and that always makes me think of school. Was that the day I graduated? I don´t even remember any more....

Anyway, I´m putting up photos in a bit, so go look for them :)

Schedule Change

Is it seriously Monday already?? I swear I just talked to you all like 3 days ago! Time is flying by ridiculously fast!!

Our schedule officially changed. Instead of getting up at 7:30 and going to bed at 11:30, we get up at 6:30 and go to bed at 10:30. And President timed that perfectly for winter....nice, long, cold, dark mornings....and most of our citas are usually between 9 and 10, because here in the city that´s normally when people get home....hopefully this doesn´t last too long....but I am sorta grateful that we´re getting up early now because if I plan on going to the Temple every morning before classes, I need to be there around 5:30 when it open so I can have a 9/9:30 start time for classes to be able to work in the afternoon/night to pay for it :P Good thing the Temple is so close!

Anyway, I hope everyone enjoyed their crazy weekend! Why are so many people getting married all of the sudden?? I wanna get married too....

So, I don´t really know what to say because I sorta do the same thing all day every day (LITERALLY!!), but...ummm....yeah, I got nothing, sorry....love you all!

Lots of love,
Elder Daylon Crider

Mother's Day is Over, Nothing Else to Say :)

(After a nice, long Skype on Mother's Day, it looks like Daylon ran out of things to say today):

MOM!! I did think of something you can send me! An extra pair of pants for the suit I got from Great Grandpa. It´s the one I use most often because it´s the most comfortable, but I only have one pair of pants that match it...I´ll try to send a pic next week (We should have been working on the books hours ago, but the Zone Activity got started waaaaaayyyyy late :/ a.k.a. this´ll be a short letter)

Thanks for the recipies! I´ll print them out and see what I can do :)

New photos are up (or will be shortly hereafter) of the baptism and a funny random foto I took.

Love you all, I basically said everything I was going to write yesterday, so I hope you enjoyed it. Dad - I´ll be waiting for that letter!

Love my New Socks!

So, since neither Mom nor Dad appear to be on right now to coordinate Skype, I hope all schedules can be aligned so we can talk starting at 6-6:30 my time (3-3:30 your time, if I did my math right....love you dad! hahaha) On the same topic: the second (and last!) Mother´s Day Skype Preferences (I won´t say rules cuz, well, it´s MOTHER´S day haha)

1) With just mom for 5-10 minutes, and as a group for the remainder of the hour (and let´s not let me go over this time!)
2) EVERYONE aka DAD needs to be visible THE WHOLE TIME. We´ve had 2 hours to talk so far (last year) and I´ve seen Dad a grand total of 5 minutes. What up with that dude??
3) You all know I´m super bad with details, so WHEN you ALL ask your questionS, if you want more detail, ask more questions :)
4) Remember I love you all and I would very much enjoy being able to see more than just shadows this time haha. Maybe put the computer on one of those wooden tray things?

Anyway, Here´s my daily schedule (when we have a "normal" day)
7:30 - wake up/exercise (I´m on a 6-week push-up program)
9:00 - Studies
9:40 - Leave for the "office" (Church Employment Center right next to the Church)
10-7 - Simi Squad
7:30-10 - Citas...umm...visits? What´s it called when you APPOINTMENTS!!! THAT´S the word! :D From 7:30 to 10 we´re at appointments :)
10-10:30 - Daily Planning
11:30 - (My favorite word for these two years) Bedtime :)

OH! I got grandma´s package with the AWESOME socks! Funny story:

We we´re on a "permisos run" (we need to be ward secretaries in each ward in the mission for Simi Squad) and justo that day I got the package. I was with Elder T (the Asistente I was in the car video with) and my comp was with Elder N (oh, fyi, we´re now a trio again. Elder B from Charleston, Illinois joined Elder W and me on Monday). And Elder N left their phone in the Maipú office and were halfway to Melipilla when they dieron cuenta de eso (Maipu to Melipilla is about an hour´s drive) and they didn´t have time to go back and get it. Anyway, when we couldn´t communicate with them around 9:30, we decided to just go back to the pension de los asistentes and wait for them. Two other asistentes live there and so the four of us opened the package and for about 15 minutes (literally!) we were touching and feeling the socks like women trying on shoes! Haha (no, no one but me put them on, just to clarify!)

Definitely just reread that and noticed I wrote a lot of Spanglish...ooops haha. Some things are just easier to explain in Spanish. I´ll apologize now for when I get home and only Trevin understands me hahaha

There´s new photos and a video we took today :) Hope you enjoy!
