MTC, I've Arrived

A GIANT thanks to Daylon's Aunt Signe who picked him up at the airport, took him to lunch, dropped him off safely and on time to the MTC, called his mom to report, and sent these awesome photos to boot!

Say hello to Elder Fudd! I won this little guy from a claw machine at Fuddrucker's and he'll be helping me document my travels :) As of right now, I'm all packed (minus the stuff I'll use over the next 5 days). So excited to get going!! We'll hopefully have a few pictures each week, so we'll see ya next time!

Lucky Number 7

Well, it's finally here. Tomorrow means I only have one week left in Mesa. It's surreal, you know. I was born and raised right here on Brown Road and have never spent more than a few days in any other State or country at a time. But now I'm going to spend 6 weeks in Utah and 98 weeks in Chile. That's a drastic change!! But it will definitely be worth it. The Lord needs me to help the Spirit touch the hearts of those who are ready for the Gospel. I know that these people need ME to help guide them down the Straight and Narrow Path and the announcement made by President Monson this past Conference was because there are more and more people all over the world who need specific people to help them find the importance of Christ in their lives. I can't wait to get out there and serve the Lord and His people!

2 And Counting...

My last two full weeks as a normal person are finally here. I seriously can't believe I'm about to be a full-time missionary!! I've been able to talk to several people who have been to my mission and I am SO looking forward to it! It's got beautiful scenery and the people are phenomenal! Hopefully I have everything :P

On another note, I spent yesterday afternoon with my mom and sisters packing up my room. The girls are excited to have a bigger room, but mom was definitely shedding a tear or two haha

The Final Countdown

Today marks two important events:
     1) The first day of 2013!
     2) The final month before I leave to serve the people of Chile!

Hopefully I'll be able to track down some luggage and the last few remaining items on my list of things to take to the MTC haha
