Called To Serve

My call arrived last Friday!!! I'm serving in the Chile Santiago West Mission and I leave January 30th, 2013!! Soooooo excited to serve the Lord and the people of Chile!

Waiting For The Mail

Well, I got a text from my Bishop at 10:00 this morning. Here is what he said:

"Hey Daylon, your call has been assigned so hopefully you will see something this week!"

Historically, President Monson will add his signature of approval of Tuesday and I will have it in my hands by the weekend. Can't wait!!

The Waiting Game

Well, it is done. My Stake President is submitting my papers to Salt Lake today and hopefully I will have my call by the end of next week! Where do you think I am going to go?

In The Hands of The Bishop

I literally just turned in my application to the Bishop. Next up, an interview with him and my Stake President. Then I get my call!!

Getting Ready

With the lowering of the mission age, I started my papers on Sunday, October 21st 2012 and I currently have everything done except my photo to upload (just waiting on them to develop) and my passport to get here!
